Suminagashi Printing

This is a process called Suminagashi.  It was developed as a paper design technique about 2000 years ago in Japan.  Students have had a lot of fun, and success with it.  Final pictures to come next week.  Even though it was developed in Japan and the inks were made there, I had to buy it from Amazon in the US and have it shipped here.  I could not find a single art store in China that carries it.  Other then the inks this requiers no special materials and could be done just about any where.
